Many online schools have Life Experiences Program wherein one can obtain a degree by using the skills, trainings, and other 'hands-on' experiences one gained in the workplace, through a training or a workshop. This program is best for people with basic to expert skill, talent or know-how on a particular field, but without the educational documents to prove it. Many online schools offer to assess and evaluate a student's life experiences for possible granting of a degree. There are even some institutions whose life experiences degree are almost equivalent to an Associate, Bachelor or Masters degree. And while most employers still go for a professional on a particular field, a life experience degree is slowly gaining recognition from many employers because it certifies an individual's capabilities and skills.
